Walsham Obedience Club

What We Do...

Walsham Obedience Club joined the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme as a listed member in 2004. We train and hold tests for the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. Puppies under 1 year are awarded a Puppy Foundation Rosette on successful completion of the Puppy Foundation Course.

Training takes place each Tuesday evening at :
The Blofield Sea Scouts Hall, Yarmouth Road, Blofield, NR13 4LE
and includes classes for beginners, intermediate and the more experienced dogs/handlers as well as the Puppy Foundation class.

Classes begin at 7.30pm

TRAINING FEES FOR A 12 WEEK BEGINNERS COURSE ARE £25.00

TRAINING FEES FOR INTERMEDIATE CLASSES ARE £10.00 FOR A YEARS SUBSCRIPTION AND £2.00 PER NIGHT PER DOG
FOR CURRENT MEMBERS, NEW OR LAPSED MEMBERS PAY £15 AND £2.00 PER NIGHT PER DOG.

Demonstration nights are held at intervals throughout the year and include such disciplines as:
Gun dogs, hearing dogs for the deaf, grooming and many more.

Walsham Obedience Club is not all work though, we have parties for dogs and handlers each Easter and Christmas, an annual Fun Day and Barbeque plus a Christmas Dinner for members and guests each December.

For those who require further obedience training, dog behaviour help, or just one to one assistance, the club has contacts with other local trainers and clubs.
